TACCBO Online Membership Information

All TACCBO online memberships are by email invitation only

 

There are only two types of memberships on the TACCBO membership website as follows:

Community College District – This membership has only two purposes being paying dues and inviting other staff to become a regular member. There are 50 CC District memberships, one for each college district, only the CFO of each district has the authority to pay dues and invite new members. The CFO must also invite himself/herself to be a regular member so he/she can have an individual membership. We have structured the TACCBO memberships to coincide with our dues policy. The annual dues are $200 per Community College District. Therefore, there is an online member for each Community College District and each Community College District member can be accessed by its primary Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The CFO will need to sign in as the District with the initial username and password provided to them by email. Then they will go to the My Profile section and find the area called Sub-Accounts located under Information & Settings. There they can enter the email addresses for all of the College employees that need to register as an online member and click Send Invite. CFOs – please remember to invite yourself as well so you can have a separate membership from the College District.

Regular Member - Employees will receive an email inviting them to join the TACCBO online community. By clicking to join, they will be taken to a web page where they can enter their profile information. Please don't forget to add a picture of you to your profile so others can get to know you. As part of the profile setup new members will have to select a primary group to join. This can be changed later and the member can join as many groups as they wish. Congratulations! You are now a member.

Other Benefits

Groups

We have designed groups as the primary means of communication on the site. There are groups for various areas of interest within the community. If you have several members who are interested in a new group for discussion, please submit that request through the Contact Us link found at the top of each page. Within groups you can message or email group members (Options), create forum discussions and look up group members (Directory & Features)

Community Calendar

Please submit any calendar items you would like to be added through the Contact Us link at the top of each page.

Career Center

Here you can submit openings at your campus. You will then be able to manage you postings under your Manage Profile section of My Profile. You can also build your own resume if you are looking for a job and others in the community can browse your resume. Members who click to Subscribe to the Career Center page will be notified of new openings.

Who's Online Now?

You can look to see what members on logged into the website and start a chat session with that member. This feature usually works fine but there could be difficulties with certain web browsers.
